The Town of Amherst Conservation Department announced that Puffer’s pond is closed for swimming due to high levels of E. The Town of Amherst Conservation Department has announced that Puffer’s Pond is closed to swimming due to high levels of E.coli bacteria. The Town tests water quality weekly. New results will be available on Tuesday, 9th July.
