I’m glad you have this product. Before I had this, we over filled our berkefeld a couple of times. It was always hard to judge the water levels. I’m too short to see in. I wish I didn’t have to pay so much for this product. Seems like it should already come with this to help see the water lines.

Should have bought this when I originally bought my prince berkefeld …saves me from having to lift up the top chamber to see how much water is in bottom chamber. It originally leaked when I first installed it, but that was my fault because the rubber washer was squished at a funny angle…just loosened assembly then retightened and all was good.

The spigot works as intended but the collar that holds the glass indicator in place came broken. Instead of asking for an exchange I have lived with the defect instead of waiting for an exchange. I would have preferred better quality control.

I bought this at the recommendation of others who own a berkefeld and I am happy that I did. Without it there is no way to know what the water level is inside the berkefeld , so this is very handy. I have had no issues with it at all and there was never any water leakage like I have seen some people mention, it just needs to be screwed in correctly.

The sight glass is a duke help. I have overflowed the berkefeld twice now, but that is because I was not paying enough attention. I know that the sight glass has prevented many many overflows. It works great and was easy to install. We tried using the hardware that came with the berkefeld and it’s spigot, but you really need to use the hardware that they send with it. (They actually knew what they were talking about! Go figure.:)

Our water filter sets too high for me to see how much water is left. I was having to guess how much water was left in the lower chamber and sometimes didn’t guess right so we would run out of filtered water. The glass spigot takes the guesswork out and now I never overfill the upper chamber.

Works great. don’t worry about those who talk about the hole in the top. You have to REALLY overfill it for it to be an issue. I fill my duke berkefeld to the tippy top with two white filters in the upper chamber, and it comes nowhere near getting to the top of the tube.
