The Ultra Fluoride filters are fantastic. We knew it was time to change our Berkey filters but could not find any in stock due to the legal issues that Berkey is facing. Don’t get me wrong, the Berkey filters were great and served our family well, but our water tastes much better after using these filters from British Berkefeld. All the good: Taste great. Easy to install in existing berkey tower. Customer service was quick to respond to simple email and questions.
Bad: not really bad just expect a long filtering time. 2 filters take about 8-10 hrs to filter 6 gallons (mind you it is filtering pre treated tap water). Would reccomend highly getting the fill reading spigot and possibly running 4 filters. Cutts time down significantly.

I have a Berkey unit, and this has been my first experience with the British Berkefeld company. From the customer rep’s friendly help in ordering the fluoride filters I needed, the fast arrival of the filters that I ordered to fit my size Berkey, to the ease of installation (versus the Berkey filters — there is NO priming of these filters, and that is HUGE, at least for me!), this has been a great experience.
